Slave to Saved

Unanswered questions
Just hints and suggestions
Wounded by brothers
Who were wounded by others
Oppresed, paranoid
I hide and avoid

Mind exploding
World imploding
Why am I here thoughts
Frozen in fear thoughts
Can’t tell a soul
And nor can I continue to play this ridiculous role

WHY? No-one else knows either
Which worsens the fever
And how lost are you?
Has no-one a clue?
So I’m reaching out upward
Since nothing is outward

Looking up at infinite sky
IF ANYONE’S THERE RESPOND TO MY CRY
My last thread of hope
Last ounce of strength
And all is bare
Barely there

Not even the will to die
or the self left to cry
Suddenly…….
My heart springs alive
I’ve strength to survive
The spirit of God moves within and around me

Saved and worth saving He heard, sought and found me
And in the stillness of space
Answers fell into place
I’m suddenly someone
Created with deliberate meaning
With gifts of my own in a life to succeed in

From lost, blind, loveless to loved and saved
I’m free in the place where I once was enslaved
To sum up a conclusion to you that’s in doubt
Before you give up; hang on; wait; reach up and cry out…
JESUS!!!!
